About this game
Bending Light With Mirrors
Light Flux is built around a single, focused task: a light source emits a beam, and you must route that beam so it reaches every sensor on the board. Mirrors are your only tool. You click and drag them onto the grid, then rotate them by clicking to change the angle at which the beam reflects. The puzzle is solved when all sensors are lit at the same time, not one after another.
Reading the Board Before You Place
Every level introduces a new arrangement of obstacles and sensors, so the layout itself is the puzzle. Obstacles block the beam, which means a mirror that works on one board can be useless on the next. The sensible first move is to trace the beam's starting direction from the source and work outward, rather than scattering mirrors and adjusting afterward. Because mirrors can be rotated, a single placement often has several possible outcomes, and finding the right one is the core decision.
Controls and Platform
Light Flux is designed for desktop computers and is not optimized for mobile devices. A keyboard and mouse work best, and full-screen mode is available for a larger board view. There are no downloads or installations, and the game is free to play in a browser. The visuals stay clean and simple, which keeps attention on the light path rather than on decoration.
Difficulty and Approach
Later levels add more sensors and obstacles, so the number of simultaneous reflections grows. That increase is the main source of difficulty, not timers or penalties. If a layout stops making sense, clearing every mirror and starting from the source again is a legitimate strategy. The game suits players who prefer steady analysis over reaction speed, and it is family-friendly in content.
