Merging Numbers to Clear Space

The board fills with number blocks, and your job is to connect matching pairs so they combine into one. Each successful merge removes a block and adds to your score, but the board keeps filling. The tension comes from deciding which pairs to merge first and where the freed space will help most. If any block reaches the top of the screen, the run ends.

Controls and Moment-to-Moment Play

You can use either a mouse or keyboard to select number blocks. Drag or click to connect two blocks with the same number; they merge into a single block. There is no timer forcing your hand, so you can study the board before each move. That said, faster merges tend to produce higher scores, which rewards players who spot pairs quickly and act.

Why Planning Matters More Than Speed

Early on, the board is open and mistakes are easy to fix. As blocks accumulate, the same merge that seemed harmless can block a future pairing. The game rewards thinking one or two moves ahead: merge larger numbers first when possible, keep columns from stacking unevenly, and avoid leaving isolated blocks that cannot pair. Reaction time helps, but space management decides how long a run lasts.
